This has made all the Aimee fans happy that the wait is close to its end.
To all Turtle fans to not falter because the next one is probably going to be him as it was mentioned on stream that we’re safe to assume that following Aimee’s release will be Turtle’s. (We’ve both waited a long time for either of the mercs to come out and be sure that AImee fans will be on your side to get Turtle out next)

Now for the main question, apart from this piece of exciting news that Aimee is next, we have yet to receive a March content update. Will it be Aimee’s release into the game or is it going to be just Ranked changes being given to us for the month of March?

Or is this picture just to let us know that Aimee’s next but we’ll still have to wait till 18th April for the update as previously seen on the late Max Bashki’s invitation card?

PDP? Rip, I can’t deal with the recoil on that thing, not fun to use at all. That leaves two other weapons. Id love a dreiss but a bolt action would be fine (but if she gets bolt actions she’d have the exact same weapons as vassili, and that’d be lame).

Btw is that camera literally flying?

at first i wanted her to have the felix because i used the felix. now im using the moa, and ive been doing better ever since. so i want her to have the moa, but that would make her too much like vassili :I (not that i mind, female vassili here i come!)

Look at the Rouge en Vogue picture clearly, there’s vassili being monitored as well as Fletcher/Sawbonez and Proxy repairing the ev!

Does she look any different from her alpha stage though? I can’t tell.

Whether the silenced pistol is the Selbstadt .40 or a new silenced Deagle, we may not be able to guess but i’m leaning towards Selbstadt.

Overall, I hope we get the update fast and that they’ve updated her model to look hotter.

I’m pretty certain that silenced pistols are not on their way… Last thing I heard was that the “silenced” weapon idea was scrapped because they really aren’t the effective in the world of Dirty Bomb.

When was the last time you located them from a pistol shot sound?

Most of the sound queues you pick up are primary weapons and abilities, which are noticeably louder, due to the Dirty Bomb’s sound system prioritizes: effective range = sound volume.

This is why you can hear something like a sniper rifle, or Stark from far away, and pistols/SMG’s up close. While yes, there is a sense of “realism” in this sound generation, it’s also done this way to support a gameplay function. This is why silenced weapons really wouldn’t fit into the realm of Dirty Bomb and we will likely never see them making their way into the game.

My guess is the model is just an old asset used for some stylized artwork. This is a little speculative, based off of prior statements the developers have given, but it honestly makes the most sense. :slight_smile:

I’m not disappointed, I expected Aimee and we’re getting Aimee. Now the only disappointment will be is if she has the same exact primaries as Vassili. Fel-ix can be replaced by like the GSR and then just have the fel-ix be on whatever new Recon they make as their default primary.

Edit: Also would be disappointing if her ability is still mediocre.
