Chances are any balance changes they have made will be out in the next update and probably mentioned beforehand… I wonder what they could really add some balance to next, hard to imagine really.
Tekonos left Dirty Bomb today. It was his last stream today - as he has moved onto other projects in Nexon.
Borrowing from CS GO isn’t a bad move imo
I mean, it is the most played competitive shooter on PC right now. Doesn’t hurt to borrow a few things as long as the game stays unique enough to separate it from Counter Strike.
As long as the ttk is where it is now or a little slower due to no more aim punch and more predictable recoil patterns, and it keeps that awesome fast pacing, I think all the people who find CS GO too slow will flock to Dirty Bomb.
That was my main issue with it, felt like chess with guns.
If you want a poor excuse for an attempt to copy CS:GO, look up Metro Conflict.
@CCP115 though there will be no balance changes in the next update, as Faraleth said, there was a fine-tuning update due around the 16th which has been pushed back, which will likely have any balance changes in.
Yep, the Fine Tuning update (which comes AFTER the Phoenix update) will likely contain the balance changes - if there are any. This update coming seems to be purely a CONTENT update. 
This just in… Fine Tuning may still be on schedule BUT this is not a promise! Just wanted to correct myself since I said “definitely not” on the stream.
Thank you for the insight! I’m sure we’ll all be perfectly okay if it is delayed, seems like the whole schedule got thrown off with some of the last minute fixes needed for the current update so it’s all understandable. Keep up the good work :3

Hi-Rez announced that they’re patching Tribes Ascend for the first time in 2 years! Might actually go back and give it a good try this time.

I’m honestly too far pissed off at Hi Rez, and I think a lot of other people are too.
They basically did what Valve did to TF2 and may a solid game really casual on pubs. And that drags into comp because you have to ban a lot of crap.
Dirty Bomb so far…yea some people are under used but nothing is really banned unless it has some kind of glitch.
I expect we’ll see some interesting developments as the meta evolves though.

11am, Not as bad as 4am, but It’s the middle of the day and unless you don’t have a job or school, you basically can’t watch it.
The possible friday stream would be in the evening US time, which means it will be at a nice afternoon/early evening time for AU! Please remember, this isn’t 100% confirmed, but it would be nice for the Aussie’s to get a stream every now and then! XD
I meant when will these streams start being a thing. They’ve been requested/talked about for a few months.
