Another designer here was having the same prob, only with his floors though. I told him to select his whole map, and move it up 1 unit in the Z…

this worked for him…

For the curious, the bug was caused by origin brushes on entities, acting in conjunction with Lucifer, and the new planefinding code, caused the BSP to have some really bogus plane data that was basically causing stuff to Not Work Right.

To verify this, delete all entities with origin brushes from your map and re-BSP it. The HOMs should go away.

The fix will be in the next release of Q3Map2 (2.3.38).
